Wine Barbecue Marinade

1 Serving (for beef or pork)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry red wine

  • 1/2 cup vinegar

  • 1 cup salad oil

  • 2 onions quartered

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • dash cayenne pepper

  • dash thyme

  • dash oregano

Directions

  • Put all ingredients into blender.

  • Cover and blend until smooth.

  • Place meat

  • in deep baking dish and pour wine marinade over.

  • Cover well and allow to remain overnight, turning once to be sure both sides are well marinated.

  • Broil or barbeque to desired degree of doneness, brushing with remaining sauce.
