Wheat Muffins

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons shortening
1 cup milk
1 egg
Directions
Sift dry ingredients.
Mix milk, beaten egg and shortening.
Combine the 2 mixtures.
Stir only until the flour mixture is moistened.
Pour into lined cupcake pans.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 450° oven.
