Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds round steaks thinly sliced, cut in strips

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 28 oz. can tomatoes

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 2 small onions sliced

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic minced

  • 1 packet gravy mix

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 green bell peppers large, sliced in strips

  • flour salt and pepper

Directions

  • Brown floured meat in vegetable oil in pressure cooker.

  • In a large bowl, mix together tomatoes (cut up), water, onions, garlic

  • brown gravy mix, Worchestershire sauce, peppers, and salt and pepper to taste.

  • Add mixture to browned meat and cook at 15 lbs. pressure for 10 minutes.

  • Allow pressure to lower.

  • Serve over rice (2 cups uncooked)
