Low-Cal Scampi (shrimp or scallop)

Ingredients
1 pound scallops or shrimp
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons dry white wine or dry vermouth
2 to 4 cloves garlic minced or 1/2 tsp. dried
salt and pepper to taste
paprika
1 tablespoon parsley
Directions
Melt better (or margarine), add to drained scallops, along with the rest of the ingredients.
Marinate at least one hour.
Preheat broiler.
Spread scallops in single layer in shallow broiling pan.
Broil 3 to 4” from heat, turning frequently, until cooked (about three to six minute), or this can be stir-fried in large pan (my preference).
