 
    
  Low-Cal Scampi (shrimp or scallop)

Ingredients
- 1 pound scallops or shrimp 
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine or dry vermouth 
- 2 to 4 cloves garlic minced or 1/2 tsp. dried 
- salt and pepper to taste 
- paprika 
- 1 tablespoon parsley 
Directions
- Melt better (or margarine), add to drained scallops, along with the rest of the ingredients. 
- Marinate at least one hour. 
- Preheat broiler. 
- Spread scallops in single layer in shallow broiling pan. 
- Broil 3 to 4” from heat, turning frequently, until cooked (about three to six minute), or this can be stir-fried in large pan (my preference).
