1 pound ground chuck
1 1/2 cups onions chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded (about 4 oz.)
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2 inches.
Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain.
Stir in salt and pepper.
Spread in pie plate.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed or 1 minute with hand beater.
Pour into pie plate.
Bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
Refrigerate any remaining pie.
If using pie plate 9 x 1 1/4 inches, decrease milk to 1 cup, baking mix to 1/2 cup, and eggs to 2.
