Grandmother's Lamb Stew

6 Servings (deer meat may be used)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lamb boneless (cut in cubes)

  • 1 garlic clove minced (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

  • 2 teaspoons oregano

  • 1 packet onion soup mix mixed with 1/2 cup hot water

  • 1 cup celery and leaves, slice

  • 1 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 cup wine

  • 2 16 oz. cans potatoes sliced (or 4-5 lg. fresh potatoes)

  • 1 16 oz. can green beans (add after stew is cooked)

Directions

  • Pam pressure cooker and add oil.

  • Brown lamb and garlic.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.

  • Cook for 20 minutes.

  • Bring pressure down and add beans.

  • For deer - Cook 30 minutes.

  • Let pressure come down slowly.
