Grandmother's Lamb Stew
6 Servings (deer meat may be used)
Ingredients
1 pound lamb boneless (cut in cubes)
1 garlic clove minced (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
2 teaspoons oregano
1 packet onion soup mix mixed with 1/2 cup hot water
1 cup celery and leaves, slice
1 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup wine
2 16 oz. cans potatoes sliced (or 4-5 lg. fresh potatoes)
1 16 oz. can green beans (add after stew is cooked)
Directions
Pam pressure cooker and add oil.
Brown lamb and garlic.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
Cook for 20 minutes.
Bring pressure down and add beans.
For deer - Cook 30 minutes.
Let pressure come down slowly.
