Creamy Cheesecake
8 Servings Recipe is from”Eat This…It’ll Make You Feel Better”by Dom Deluise Crust:
Ingredients
1/4 pound butter
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup pecans crushed
{“Cheesecake filling”=>nil}
3 8 oz. packages cream cheese (I use light)
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
{“Topping”=>nil}
1 pint sour cream
Directions
Crust:
Melt butter and add to graham cracker crumbs, sugar and crushed pecans.
Line bottom and sides of springform pan with mixture, packing it down firmly.
Filling:
Put all ingredients into a food processor and mix well, using metal blade. Pour into springform pan and bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
Remove Cheesecake.
Do not turn oven off.
Topping:
Top cheesecake with sour cream and return to oven for 5
more minutes.
Let cool.
Chill overnight.
