2 1/2 to 3 pounds ground round (or your preference of ground meat)
2 cups Italian bread crumbs
1 cup milk
1 cup fresh parsley or 2 tbs dried parsley
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic minced, or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 onion minced very fine
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Let stand 1/2 hour.
Shape into medium size balls.
Fry gently in olive oil until lightly browned or place on cookie sheet lined with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
