Christine's Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds ground round (or your preference of ground meat)

  • 2 cups Italian bread crumbs

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup fresh parsley or 2 tbs dried parsley

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic minced, or 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 onion minced very fine

  • 1 teaspoon basil

  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

  • Let stand 1/2 hour.

  • Shape into medium size balls.

  • Fry gently in olive oil until lightly browned or place on cookie sheet lined with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
