1 Serving (Mozzarella Bread) Italian bread, or French bread - I prefer French bread


  • egg -4 eggs per loaf of French bread

  • milk

  • salt and pepper

  • mozzarella cheese cut in small slices


  • Cut bread into thin slices.

  • Scramble eggs and milk and salt and pepper.

  • Drench each slice of bread.

  • Fry bread in hot olive oil.

  • Remove when browned on both sides.

  • Make a sandwich while bread is still hot.

  • Stack in a shallow pan and cover until served.
