Carrot Tsimmes

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds carrots

  • 2 to 3 pounds canned yams drained

  • honey to taste, start with 1/4 cup

  • some recipes call for a little lemon juice and butter

Directions

  • Clean, cut and boil carrots in salted water until tender.

  • Drain.

  • Beat with mixer (will be lumpy).

  • Add sweet potatoes and continue beating.

  • Add honey to taste.

  • Stir in raisins.

  • Serve hot.

  • Enjoy!
