Carrot Tsimmes

Ingredients
2 pounds carrots
2 to 3 pounds canned yams drained
honey to taste, start with 1/4 cup
some recipes call for a little lemon juice and butter
Directions
Clean, cut and boil carrots in salted water until tender.
Drain.
Beat with mixer (will be lumpy).
Add sweet potatoes and continue beating.
Add honey to taste.
Stir in raisins.
Serve hot.
