1 pint blueberries
2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
2 teaspoons baking powder
dash of salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time, beating between additions.
Add vanilla, mix well.
Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
Batter will be very thick.
Fold in berries thoroughly.
Pour into greased and floured 8-inch square cake pan.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven about 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
