Beef Mostaccioli Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds stew meat cut into 1 inch pieces

  • 1 16 oz. can tomatoes cut up

  • 1 cup onions sliced

  • 1/2 cup carrots chopped

  • 1/2 cup celery sliced

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (only needed if it’s a lean cut of meat)

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 cup mostaccioli uncooked

  • shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  • Place tomatoes, vegetables, oil

  • and beef in the crock pot.

  • Combine water, salt, paprika, chili powder, and pepper.

  • Mix well and pour over meat.

  • Cook on high 4 hours.

  • Cook mostaccioli.

  • Drain well and stir into stew.

  • Pass mozzarella to sprinkle on top.
