Baked Clams II

Ingredients

  • 20 to 24 clams

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1 package bacon

  • bread crumbs

  • lemon juice

Directions

  • Open clams.

  • Put in blender (juice also - very important!).

  • Fry bacon and chop.

  • Mix clams, bacon, and bacon grease in big bowl.

  • Add lemon juice and garlic (chopped very fine) and then add bread crumbs.

  • Put clams in clam shells.

  • Bake for about 15 minutes.

  • Broil until brown.
