Aunt Fanny's Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil only if chicken is skinned

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons parsley

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 3/4 cup wine white or rose preferred

Directions

  • Shake vigorously in jar.

  • Pour over chicken.

  • Cover and marinate a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  • Bake in 350° (marinade included) until well browned (approx. 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes).

  • Baste often, add liquid if needed so that there is always a covering of fluid in bottom of pan.

  • Serve chicken with sauce from pan.
