Ground beef mixture:
Appetizer meat balls can be frozen after baking, Just before serving, reheat them either top-stove in barbecue sauce, or in the oven. Then insert toothpicks.
1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup catsup or chili sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup onions finely chopped onion
1/2 cup corn flake crumbs
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Shape beef mixture into about 3 dozen tiny meatballs, using a teaspoon of mixture for each one.
Place in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake in 400° oven 12 to 15 minutes, or until brown.
It is not necessary to turn the meat balls as they bake.
Insert a toothpick into each.
Serve with hot barbecue sauce.
