Appetizer Meat Balls

Ground beef mixture:

Appetizer meat balls can be frozen after baking, Just before serving, reheat them either top-stove in barbecue sauce, or in the oven. Then insert toothpicks.


  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/4 cup catsup or chili sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup onions finely chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

  • barbecue sauce


  • Shape beef mixture into about 3 dozen tiny meatballs, using a teaspoon of mixture for each one.

  • Place in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

  • Bake in 400° oven 12 to 15 minutes, or until brown.

  • It is not necessary to turn the meat balls as they bake.

  • Insert a toothpick into each.

  • Serve with hot barbecue sauce.
